They call me Mariah(yes, that is my real name), though I usually go by the nickname Mars but either works for me.
 I’m a natural brunette. I’m a proud born first generation Canadian with roots dating back to Portugal.
I try to avoid the cliché tumblr blog and I rarely, if ever, post/reblog photos of little wanna-be hipster girls strutting around in their bikinis. If that’s what you’re looking for, I’m sorry but you won’t be getting that here.

I strongly believe I was born in the wrong generation and I have an intense obsession with antiques and everything and anything vintage. And especially Audrey Hepburn.

My goal in life that I’m certain about is moving to and raising a family in Hampstead or Bath(England). Other than that, I want to major in photography, French studies and theatre arts but I’d also love to get my PhD in parasitology. But I’m just a teenager with a couple years to determine exactly what career path I want to take. 

If I’m not blogging my life away (sadly), you would find me with a book in my hand, or my notebook and pen. Writing has always been my biggest passion and will continue to be. I love making people move with the words that I use to describe even the simplest of actions. It makes me feel like I’ve accomplished something. 

I’m a very passionate person and I feel like one of the reasons that God has put me on this Earth is truly to stand up for equal rights. I’m extremely passionate about animal rights and gay rights. Equality is something that does mean a lot to me. 

I’ve overcome suicidal impulses and self-harm, so if you reading this right now is going through the same thing I promise you, you’ll overcome it. I’m here, thousands of other people are still here and I pray that YOU will still be here.

My life revolves around Kurt Cobain and God.
